UV Inks
UV inks were first commercialized when they were first applied to carton printing in the U.S. back in 1969. In Japan, it was used for metal printing and seal printing 2 years later in 1971. UV inks are characterized by inner curing, solvent-free, and powderless properties and widely being used due to better work environment, faster delivery, reduction of inventories, and space-efficiency. The purpose of this information is to ensure better understanding of UV-cured ink and the related precautions and more effective and safe application of UV printing based on its characteristics.
